About me

I am a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate with Coventry University and Duck Tours Ltd Seahorse amphibious Vehicle, funded by UK Research & Innovation (UKRI). My work focuses on bridging academic research and industry application to develop the next generation of electric amphibious vehicles (eAVs) — an emerging $10B+ global market in sustainable transport.

I am passionate about applying design thinking, data-driven engineering, and sustainable technologies to create transport solutions that are inclusive, efficient, and environmentally responsible.

Outside of my KTP role, I continue to explore opportunities at the intersection of mechanical design, digital innovation, and future mobility systems, aiming to contribute to projects that have both commercial impact and societal value.

    As part of a UKRI-funded Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP), I play a key role in advancing the design, manufacturing, and scalability of the Seahorse Electric Amphibious Vehicle (eAV) — a pioneering project in sustainable transport.

    Key Contributions:

    • User-Centred Design: Led user research and usability studies to capture insights from passengers and operators, shaping future design improvements.
    • Manufacturing Quality: Developed and implemented manufacturing control plans to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance with international standards.
    • Digital Manufacturing: Integrated digital twin systems to connect real-time manufacturing data with design simulations, enabling faster validation and continuous improvement.
    • Scale-Up Strategy: Collaborated with engineers, researchers, and industry partners to support the scaling of Seahorse eAV production from 8 vehicles annually to a projected 28 by 2031.

    This role allows me to bridge academic innovation and industrial application, embedding advanced digital manufacturing and human-centred design into a commercially viable, zero-emission mobility solution.

    Implemented the conversion of a conventional lathe machine to CNC, reducing budget costs by 45% and enabling a small-scale industry to transition into a medium-scale operation through cost-effective automation and product development.
    Managed project phases from feasibility through volume production, leveraging Agile methodologies and P6 for resource allocation and timeline optimization.
    Utilized advanced quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, SPC (Statistical Process Control), and MSA (Measurement System Analysis) to ensure production readiness, minimize defects, and enhance process stability.
